- 'solveepd' could make the program crash for long analysis time
- allow kibitz for the 'solve' command
- minor modifications in INSTALL
- if gnuchess.ini is not found, report error before prompt
- actually open the book after 'book on'
- 'book add' crashed on some platforms due to a wrong calculation of the book file name length
- remove some unused code
