Update Information: February 2, 2011

by Ron @, Friday, February 04, 2011, 00:40 @ Michael Diosi

Hi Michael,

Tursas is written in Clojure, which is a programming language for the Java virtual machine. If someone could build this code into a jar file, then I would list it, because then everyone would be able to run it as if it was a Java program. But the Clojure code on the website cannot be run.

In the case of the Purple Haze program, my daily scan of its SourceForge page
http://sourceforge.net/projects/purplehaze/
showed a new link to its new homepage on GitHub and, unlike at SF, the new location had code. Since it was written in C++, I asked Jim Ablett to build it for the chess community. I knew that Jim would do the build, so it was safe for me to announce it.

For Tursas there is no one to build it for us. :-(
